RV is back.

Picked up the RV from Chesaco RV and the GMC Sierra drove rather nicely home. More bad news about our van the Toyota Sienna; not only does it new a new transmission, the drive shaft is worn out at the universal joints. Rather than replace selected U-joints, the whole assembly has to be replaced, Thanks Toyota. More added cost to the repair that Cesare wasn't expecting. Hard to clear my head of all the costs associated with all that has gone wrong so far this summer. Hoping to find a large sum unmarked bills in a paper bag somewhere on this trip. Tonight we will start to load the necessities in the RV.

Trying to wrap up a few things at home in preparation for the trip. Michele picked up Pop Pop's truck, a 2012 GMC Sierra, and upon her return Cesare attached the hitch and brake controller. We are picking up the RV from Chesaco RV tomorrow after the brakes were inspected and wheel bearings were cleaned and repack. Determined to finish splitting the firewood so Cesare can return the splitter to Chris W. before we leave. The anticipation for the trip is not evident amongst the family members. Guess it will hit us on Saturday. In the meantime, Cesare set up this blog and mapped all our campgrounds and points of interest. Zoom in on the map (+) to see locations #5 and #7. Location #1 is the starting and ending point.
